Professional Qualifications 

Whether you are pursuing a qualification in Hotel and Hospitality, Computing or Business Management, the courses offered through Study Plans Business School will allow you the option to continue your education, as well as pursuing a top up to an undergraduate degree.

Earning a full BA or MBA is a simple and low cost option with Study Plans. Earn your Diploma online with Study Plans, and then top up to a Bachelor’s or MBA degree by distance learning or on-campus through a UK university or our very own Business College Leicester.

A Choice of Respected UK Universities 

ATHE have direct articulation arrangements with several Universities which give full recognition for entry. Alternatively, students can choose their own University.

It should be understood by students that these are general guidelines. Study Plans kindly advises students to check the up to date requirements with their preferred University or your local University Agent if they intend to make an application on your behalf.

Level 3 Programmes: will be accepted by most Universities for entry on to their Undergraduate programmes. Subject to any other entry requirements, such as English Language competency.

Level 4/5 Programmes: carry 240 credits and most Universities will accept students for top up onto the final year of an Undergraduate Degree.

Level 6 Programmes: will allow students entry onto most university Postgraduate Management Programmes. Furthermore, relevant work experience may also be required.

Level 7 Programmes: many Universities will accept 120 credits as advanced entry onto an MBA top up. It should be noted that Universities with AMBA accredited MBAs will not accept any exemptions. However, they will usually accept Level 6 or Level 7 as entry qualifications.

Study in Study Plans or on campus  in the UK for top-up programmes or direct entry to university.

On completion of an Study Plans Business School course, students can apply to top up on campus. Furthermore, all of the academic courses offered by Study Plans are Ofqual approved. Universities will generally accept the credits awarded to students. For Level 3 programmes students can apply for Undergraduate entry for a full programme. Level 6 programmes will allow entry at most Universities for full time Post Graduate study.

Level 3 Business Management

The level 3 ‘A-Level’ equivalent qualification helps students learn key concepts and a range of management procedures required to work within a business. It has been specifically developed to teach the knowledge required for students to work effectively, both as individuals and in teams within a business. Being able to develop good business management skills is crucial for any company.

The Level 3 Diploma Business Management is made up of 6 modules and assignments, each module consists of approximately 40 guided learning hours. While completing the diploma, students will have access to various study resources, such as tutor support and webinars, a social learning forum, and additional materials to help in the completion of their graduate business course.

Upon completion of this course, students will receive an ATHE Level 3 Business Management qualification which is fully regulated by Ofqual. Students will then have the opportunity to apply for admission onto a full BA Degree programme from a range of UK universities. Alternatively students can opt to study our Level 4/5 Extended Diploma in Management and then go on to complete a BA Top Up at a range of UK universities.

Level 4/5 Diploma in Hotel and Hospitality

Prepare for an exciting career in the Hospitality industry through the online Hotel Management course.

Students on our online Hospitality Management program will undertake a Level 4/5 240-credit course, designed to prepare students with the skills needed to be a competent employee in the Hospitality industry. During the Hotel Management program, students will have the ability to access tutor support and webinars, a social learning forum, and additional materials to help in the completion of their diploma. Each module consists of 40 guided learning hours of material with an additional 30-50 hours worth of optional materials that comprise of recommended exercises, recommended readings, Internet resources, and self-testing exercises.

Upon passing the online assessments and written assignments, students will be awarded an ATHE diploma and will be able to top up to a bachelor’s degree. 

Level 4/5 Diploma in IT and Computing

If you have the desire to turn your passion for computers into a career, The IT and Computing Diploma offered by ESMB Online Business School is definitely a course you should consider.

Our online Level 4/5 IT and Computing Diploma course is a 240-credit course designed to equip you with the skills you need to become an IT professional. While completing the course, students will have access to a variety of support services, including Tutor Support and Webinars, also Social Learning Forum, and additional materials to help in the completion of their Diploma course.

Level 4/5 Extended Diploma in Management

Undergraduate Level 4/5 ESMB Extended Diploma in Management

The Undergraduate Level 4/5 Extended Diploma in Management is a 240 credit course designed to fast track students to the final year of an associated Undergraduate BA in Business and Management Degree course, which can either be completed at a UK university on campus or via distance learning.

This course is made up of 10 Level 4 modules (120 credits) and 10 level 5 modules (120 credits). If a student decides to only study at Level 4 they will only receive 120 credits and can apply for an exemption from the first year of a university Degree course. 

Each module consists of approximately 40 guided learning hours of material with an additional 30-50 hours of optional learning material. These materials comprise recommended exercises, recommended readings and internet resources. 

Undergraduate Hotel and Hospitality Management Online Course

Prepare for an exciting career in the Hospitality industry through the Study Plans online Hotel Management course.

Students on our online Hospitality Management program will undertake a Level 4/5 240-credit course, designed to prepare students with the skills needed to be a competent employee in the Hospitality industry. Level 6 Diploma Business and Administrative Management

The Graduate Level 6 Diploma in Business and Administrative Management is made up of 10 modules and each module consists of approximately 40 guided learning hours. While completing the online business diploma, students will have access to various study resources, such as tutor support and webinars, a social learning forum, and additional materials to help in the completion of their graduate business course.

This course will be most suited to individuals who are at least 25 years old and have 5 years managerial work experience and do not have a degree but wish to study for an MBA or Postgraduate business programme. On successful completion of the course Students will be able to enrol onto our Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Management.

Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management

The Postgraduate Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management is a 30-module (120 credit) course, with 40 guided learning hours per module. All modules have an additional 30-50 learning hours of optional materials that comprise of recommended exercises, recommended readings, Internet resources, and self-testing exercises. You will also have access to 24/7 support, tutoring, and a variety of other support mechanisms through our college either in Leicester or Coventry.

After receiving your Level 7 Diploma, you are eligible to apply for an MBA Top Up course, either online or on campus. The top up portion will usually consist of the final 60 credits of either, a dissertation, or a dissertation and one module.
